Debt Retirement Campaign

Traveling Under The Power Of The Promise

Since 1949 the people of Calvary Lutheran have been on an incredible journey, armed with God's guidance and confidence in the power of God's promise.

When we decided to relocate our church home, the congregation was heavily involved in the planning process and our capital campaign, "Growing God's Family," to secure the needed funding. Through generous pledges and gifts we met our initial goal.

Our new facility was dedicated on December 1, 2007, after years of planning and construction. As we moved in to our new home on Sheridan Lake Road, God's family grew, and we were able to complete the new sanctuary in September.

There's Power In The Promise

We have experienced the power of God's promise here at Calvary Lutheran Church. For more than a decade we have promised one another an expanded vision and ministry for our congregation, and there is power in those promises.

A n August 2009 survey of Calvary congregation members indicated that an overwhelming majority felt we should move to retire our building fund debt in 2010. To honor those wishes, the congregation council authorized the "Power of the Promise" campaign.

Our remaining $2.1 million debt is all that stands in the way of Calvary taking bold and exciting steps forward into expanded ministry. Removing this debt will allow us realize the full potential of our ministry and facilities, and most importantly, widen our ability to share God's love through growing ministry programs.

Please help us remove this barrier to our ministry.
